Over the years at the Lucknow Bench of the High Court, I have seen how a little legal awareness can save a citizen years of struggle. These are my thoughts on law as I practise it—clear, practical, and rooted in the courtroom.
In my practice I often meet people who come to court only after their rights have already been compromised. Seek counsel early—do not wait until the damage is irreversible.
Writ jurisdiction is one of the most significant protections our Constitution gives the common person. A clear factual foundation and precise grounds matter more than volume of paper.
Preparation begins long before the matter is called. Calm presence and disciplined advocacy serve a litigant far better than anxiety or last-minute instructions.
In service litigation I have seen many strong cases weaken for want of proper records. Keep every order, charge-sheet, representation, and reply carefully preserved.
Revenue and consolidation matters in Uttar Pradesh are technical and document-heavy. Half the case is won by clarity of record.
Whether the matter is civil, criminal, or commercial, delay is often the litigant’s greatest enemy. A short consultation at the right time can protect rights that years of litigation may not restore.
